Amy Stampfer received her B.A. in Political Science from Barnard College, Columbia University in 1988 and her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1993. While living in Boston, Amy Stampfer focused her legal practice on health care law matters and served as a Health Law Consultant and Special Counsel to the Massachusetts Hospital Association, the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, and other medical organizations. Moving to Baltimore in 1999, Amy Stampfer was a stay-at-home mom and then worked as the Admission Associate for grades K-4 in a private school for several years before returning to the practice of law in 2009. Amy Stampfer now focuses her practice on estate planning - including wealth preservation, probate avoidance and business succession planning - and estate and trust administration; business planning and general corporate work; and real property sales and acquisitions. Amy Stampfer assists her clients with wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance medical directives, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and special needs planning, as well as, business formation and governance issues, sales and purchases, succession planning and other transactional matters. Her clients include individuals and their families, small and mid-size businesses, as well as personal service corporations. Amy Stampfer routinely collaborates with her clients’ financial advisors, insurance professionals and accountants to achieve the best result for her clients.
